A big thank you to all who applied for our scholarship to be a part of the Global Ageing Network/Curaviva Global Ageing Conference, 18-21 September 2017, Montreux, Switzerland.

We were delighted to receive over 30 applications from 16 developing countries from across the Commonwealth.

Klaus Zimmermann AM, CommonAge CEO/Director

CommonAge CEO/Director Klaus Zimmermann AM says the applications were varied and diverse in the range of ageing services from the respective countries.

“Applications in general were of a high quality demonstrating a true commitment to the ageing industry and how receiving the scholarship would assist them in furthering the industry in their region,” he says. “Funding was available for 6 scholarships so it was a difficult process to determine the successful applicants.”

“We congratulate the 6 successful applicants and look forward to seeing them in Montreux and we strongly encourage future applications from throughout the Commonwealth as and when scholarships are made available again.”
